Sunday is definitely the best day of the week.. It seems like everything slows down, which is especially nice in Amsterdam where it's always extremely busy.. Everyone takes a breather from the "real" world and just spends all day doing what they feel like doing. The weather was great today even though it's getting cold already the sun was shining. Last week I did some shopping, so i finally got to share one of my new outfits with you guys! Also my gooooorgeous lita's are making their grand entrance!!! Woehoeeeeee! Yesterday I got back from the city of fashion... PARIS!! I had a great time with my love, we did a lot of site seeing and especially a lot of walking! We were only there for a day and a half and a big schedule so unfortunately I didn't got the chance to shop that much.. And amazingly I didn't buy anything! Round of applause!! Even though I went to a great vintage store, called Kiliwatch, with a lot of beautiful pieces and also some new clothing.. Definitely worth to check out when you're in Paris! I just wanted to share some quick shots with you guys, looking casual and comfy.. Guess i'll just have to go back soon.. what a shame..

A couple of weeks ago I went to see this exhibit with my lovely mother.. A lot of famous dutch designers got a chance to show their best wedding dresses in a gorgeous church in Amsterdam. I thought it was very inspiring to see all these masterpieces and every single one of them had something special. Especially the dress made out of paper was incredible! Hopefully you agree, and who knows get inspired for your own big day! Start the wedding march!

Today finally the weather didn't completely suck! So I dragged my beloved boyfriend outside for a post.. The lighting was absolutely gorgeous.. and it kinda reminded me of a lantern.. The leather vest was a birthday present from my lovely girlfriends.. They know my taste, which is kinda special since sometimes i'm not even sure what that is.. I like a lot of different styles and I can be very picky.. Let's go with eclectic and eccentric.. WOWWW that's such a coincidence since this blog is called Bxentric! Which basically means don't give a #@$%&^# *** about what other people think and just experiment!! but that one was already taken unfortunately.. but seriously.. go for it!! Peace out!

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 18!! Finallyyyy!!!! I spend all day with my friends and family to celebrate.. I definitely got some great 'blog-worthy' presents! This gorgeous leather and studded limited edition Karen Millen bag.. Thanks mom and dad! My boyfriend got me a cambridge satchel :D and a weekend to Paris on top! I can't wait! the city of fashion! The pretty turquoise bracelet was a present from my sisters.. so as you can see I've been spoiled!!! Ooh and of course my new dip dye :D I had one before but this time it looks even better.. my hair is freakin turquoise!!! I love it!!!! An outfit post follows soon!

Hello Lovahhhhs, hurricane Keesje showed up today.. I was blown away by it's power! See it totally ripped my tights! DAMN IT! And it didn't do much good to my hair either. However I didn't let it stop me from going outside for a quick post. The trench coat is my absolute favorite I bought it at the modefabriek and it's a customized vintage piece by Jutka & Riska. It's the perfect combination between chic and fun.

Hi guys, I'm sooooo sorry for keeping you waiting so long. It's been crazy over here. When I got back from Turkey my first week of uni started. All those new impressions and schedules, but I promise i'm gonna make it work so my posts will be more regular! Enjoy!

Since it's too hot in Turkey to wear clothes there's no other option but laying by the pool, but no longer than 5 minutes if you don't wanna faint, and just do nothing.. just chill... So that's what I've been up to everyday for almost 10 days now.. BLEGHHHH life's a bitch, isn't it? The bad internet connection is kinda driving me crazy though and I have to admit that this vacation is almost like a social media rehab. But I guess it's kinda nice for once. I just love all the crazy animal and flower prints.. and this kimono has it all! And to top it, I couldn't resist wearing other silly prints with it. It turned out to be a very eclectic look which was exactly what I had in mind. The 70's sunnies and pants with an Asian touch. Flower power at it's best! This outfit is like a safari, surrounded by beautiful flowers and wild animals. Luckily I didn't got chased by a lion cause these 5 inch babies aren't made for running, but definitely for walking!

I did some serious shopping today.. found some great stuff to add to my wardrobe.. not so great for my bank account though.. but it was sale, and not just sale... SUPER SALE! last round of sale in almost every store before the new collections come in. So you understand, it was a chance of a life time! (I mean this obviously doesn't happen every season.. everybody knows that..) So just keep telling yourself that and you won't feel guilty spending your money. I mean the rent can wait right?! Today was a lazy day, I didn't feel like going outside at all, but it's been wayyyy too long since my last post. And what makes you feel better than a nice outfit right?! Yesterday I bought these great shoes at River Island so I had to take them out for a spin. I didn't find a way to wear this gorgeous kimono blouse yet until I found this leather dress in the back of my closet and a great combination was born! To finish the outfit I stole a pair of knee socks from my boyfriend and.. VOILA! Ready to rock the streets

Modefabriek summer 2011

When I got on my bike to go to the modefabriek, all I had to do was follow the parade of fashionable looking people and ta-daaaa, there I was. All the brands showed their new collections and some of them were to die for! I really had to control myself since you can't buy anything and it felt like my worst nightmare came true. All the goodies right in front of you, you can touch them, smell them, feel the nice fabric but you can't take them home with you!! aaaaaarghhh!!!! And then... I discovered this incredibly cute vintage store in the back of the hall with a sign that said: you can buy here!! All great looking customized vintage pieces, I found this great jacket from Jutka & Riska and it made my day.

The modefabriek gave new designers the opportunity to show their designs to the fashionworld. They are all final pieces from fashion/art students and I was very inspired by them.

My favorite pieces were these gorgeous bags by wig anthology. Also the new collection by Avelon is stunning as always and is definitely worth waiting for until next season.

Since the weather in Holland is very unpredictable you have to treasure the sunny days. So I was very excited to finally wear my summer clothes again! I love to wear lots of layers which is quite a challenge without fainting from the heat. So I decided to wear thin fabrics and dress it up with lots of jewelry instead.
